This boat needs auxiliary power, a bottom job, service and paint masts, and an overall paint job. It’s been almost 10 years since last service. It can be a sweet boat again. Love and attention and about $15K to get her right, (including two new 20 HP outboards) if you do most of the work.
I am at a critical junction with my finances. PRICE REDUCED to $13,450 for Immediate Sale. Come see my boat. I have had problems returning emails through Craigslist. So if you didn’t get a call back, I wasn’t ignoring you. Try texting me. show contact info
Come see my boat.
I have owned her for 22 years and it has been a great boat. If you haver been out on the lower bay, you probably have seen her.
A USCG Documented vessel, launched in 1971. She was designed by Louis Maccoullard, constructed of wood, marine plywood with a fiberglass skin. The masts and booms are wood and paint.
Previously auxillery powered by two 25 HP outboards. They outlived their service and have been removed. The were mounted on sleds with mechanical advantage. With one in forward and the other in reverse i could spin this boat on its axis. That allow me great maneuverability in tight spaces of marinas.
Its a Center Cockpit, Ketch Rigged, 22feet wide Trimaran. She draws 4 feet.
Down below in the main hull she sleeps 5 with 2 double berths in the wings and a single berth forward. The Captains quarters are in the aft cabin.
Most of the fun will be up topside under sail. 22ft beam, two trampolines between the foredecks.
This is a 51 year old boat.
She needs a well overdue bottom job, it’s time to service and paint the mast and service and paint the deck.
All of this is part of normal maintenance. I have let it go longer than usual.
Come see my boat.
Trimaran, not a catamaran, sailboat
