Description

Endymion has been a trusted companion and passion to upgrade for many years. She has carried us safely in all weather conditions from San Francisco all the way to Nicaragua and back to the Sea of Cortez where we have explored with her for the last 6 years. Downwind, there are no conditions she can't handle and is a safe and sturdy boat to weather. She has always been the crown jewel at every anchorage we visit. As cruisers, we have appointed her to easily stay off the grid for more than a month. This can be done in luxury as compared to many cruisers in her class. Her hull has been well maintained and is in pristine condition and all other critical systems like the engine, fuel tanks, electronics, autopilot and rigging have all been replaced in 2012 in a major overhaul. All structural components where inspected and rebuilt where deficiencies were detected by a professional shipwright in San Francisco at that time. New fiberglass decks where installed in 2019 which completes all major upgrades needed to keep her fit for cruising for decades to come. The wood varnished interior of Endymion matches her classic beauty. Light streaming from the overhead butterfly hatches in the main salon is only surpassed by the ripples of light reflected onto the ceiling in the aft stateroom from four gallery windows. It is a joy to lie on the queen bed in this aquarium lighting and watch the anchorage swinging by. Restoring Endymion to her former glory and cruising on her has been the greatest achievement of our lives. We will always have many found memories of her and hope that she is taken care of by a new generation of stewards with the same love and attention that we had.
